Donald Trump returns to the White House as the 47th President of the United States in an indoor ceremony at the Capitol rotunda.

Trump is expected to sign 200 executive orders in his first day in office.
During his inauguration speech, Trump vowed to carry out a strong campaign against illegal immigrants as promised during his campaign.
He also said America under his watch will only recognize two genders, male and female, a big statement against the transgender community.
Trump also vowed to revive the energy sector in America by fully utilizing fuel and cutting down on electric vehicle policies of former President Joe Biden.
The real estate mogul thanked the Black and Hispanic community for voting him into power and vowed to live up to his promises during the campaign.

Ahead of President Trump’s inauguration, outgoing President Biden granted preemptive pardons to some committee members of the January 6 Capitol riot committee over fears that they would be hunted by Trump.
Biden also granted executive pardons to family members, including Hunter Biden, despite saying in the past that he would not grant the pardon.
President Biden says his family members are being politically targeted, and the pardons were meant to protect them.
Trump is yet to react to Biden’s last moves in office as the inauguration ceremony continues in Washington.
Recall that Donald Trump beat outgoing vice president Kamala Harris in the November 5, 2024, US presidential election a few months after she replaced “mentally” weak president Biden as the candidate of the Democratic Party.
