Osihmen’s agent believes he has an unfinished business in Europe.
Victor Osimhen’s agent, Roberto Calenda, has blasted rumours linking the Nigerian forward with a move to Saudi Arabian Professional League giants Al Ahli.
Reputable football journalist Fabrizio Romano had reported in the early hours of Monday that Al Ahli has submitted a €65 million bid to Napoli for the Nigerian forward, but Calenda warned that his player is “not a package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets. We need respect and balance.”
Calenda said that “Victor Osimhen still has so much to do in Europe.”
“Osimhen is a Napoli player, with his contract recently renewed with mutual satisfaction on club/player side,” Calenda noted.
“He made history… And when there were major offers (also this year), we always accepted the club’s decisions.
“Victor was elected African Footballer of the Year, 8th at the Ballon d’Or. We ask for respect and balance.”
Calenda’s inability to secure a big money move for the reigning African Player of the Year has raised concerns.

Osimhen led Napoli to their first Italian Serie A title in 33 years during the 2022/23 season. He also helped Nigeria to a second-place finish at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
Pundits expected a huge summer move for the former Lille OSC of France striker, but Calenda seems to be finding it hard to find a club for Osimhen.
Top European sides like PSG, Chelsea, and Arsenal have been linked with a move for the Nigerian, but nothing concrete has happened.
Clubs might try to sign him again in the last days of the summer transfer window.
