Mbappe has expressed his desire to join the Spanish football heavyweights.
Real Madrid star, Toni Kroos, has stated that he hopes Real Madrid can sign PSG player, Kylian Mbappe, as a free agent at the end of the season.
The German stated this in an interview with TVE. In his words: “It is interesting to sign Mbappé, he is a very, very top player and here we always want players like that. It is no secret that Madrid loves him.”
While responding to a question on the form of his teammate at Real Madrid, Eden Hazard, Kroos said “I trust him, from one day to the next you don’t lose quality.”
Recall that earlier this week, fellow Real Madrid player, Rodrygo, stated that the club is looking forward to welcoming Kylian Mbappe in Spain.
“Here they talk about Mbappé and also about many other players, but I don’t know how that topic is. The competition here is already very big and, if he came, he would be a very strong player for that competition,” Rodrygo told TNT.
The Brazilian expressed his optimism towards the possible arrival of Mbappe at Real Madrid, saying that “it would make me happy if he came, he would come to help us.”
Mbappe, 21, has been subject of a transfer to Real Madrid in the last two years. The FIFA World Cup winner with France moved to PSG in 2017 on a record transfer loan deal and became a permanent player the following season. Since his transfer to PSG, the prolific goal scorer has won three successive Ligue 1 top goal scorer awards.
Aside being part of the French national team that won the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Mbappe also won the UEFA Nations League with France in 2021. He has scored 24 goals in 53 appearances for France.
