I Was In The Kingdom Of Darkness For 990 Years-Mummy G.O

Evangelist Funmilayo Adebayo, the General Overseer of the Rapture Proclaimer Evangelical Church of God, nicknamed Mummy G.O, has narrated how she spent several years in the kingdom of darkness.

In an interview with BBC, the controversial preacher said she started the work of God about 24 years ago. In her statement, the preacher claimed the mandate to preach about things of heaven and warn people about hell was given by God.

The 54-year-old evangelist has in recent weeks been trending on different social media platforms in Nigeria. She gained more popularity when the clips of her controversial sermons surfaced online. Some of her controversial sermons date back to 2016 and are recorded. The tape has up to five series and it is titled “990 years in the Kingdom of Darkness.”

While recounting her experience in the kingdom of darkness, the preacher said: “I have been working in the kingdom of darkness den, doing all sorts of things in the church, attacking the church, molesting the work of God and pastors.”

Speaking further, Evangelist Adebayo said she “once arrested a pastor who told me God is calling me to work for him, but when God revealed himself to me, I had no choice than to destroy all the powers of the kingdom of darkness.”

Explaining in concise the mandate given to her by God, the preacher said: “My message is to ensure that people make heaven. I want them to avoid things that will prevent them from making heaven, things that will send them to hell fire. My message also prepares people for the rapture because Jesus is coming back, whether people believe it or not. Apart from the message I deliver, God is doing healings and miracles as we get testimonies from all over the world.”
