While the Nigerian government keeps making efforts to end the violent crisis in Nigeria which emerged as a result of hoodlums hijacking the peaceful End SARS protest in the West African nation, the United Nations have confirmed that its asset in Calabar, the capital city of Cross River State, have been vandalized by thugs who paraded themselves on the guise of protesters for the end to police brutality in the most populous black nation on earth.
The United Nations resident and humanitarian coordinator in Nigeria, Edward Kallon, revealed in a tweet which he also shared photos of a mob vandalising UN properties in its facility, and destroying vehicles. Kallon did not hesitate to condemn the attack and noted that the hoodlums were out to discredit the efforts of peaceful protesters against police brutality in Nigeria.
