Witnesses say the motorbike rider was stabbed by his wife for failing to fulfill his daily financial commitment.
A commercial motorbike rider, identified as Geoffrey Ouma, was allegedly stabbed to death by his wife at their home in Ongata Rongai town, Kenya.
The tragic incident occurred after Ouma returned home with less money than usual, reportedly due to heavy rainfall affecting his earnings.
According to witnesses, the man, popularly known as Jeff, was confronted by his wife over their household’s financial struggles.
She demanded money to purchase essential items, but when he was unable to provide it, an argument broke out.

In a fit of anger, the woman rushed to the kitchen, grabbed a knife, and attempted to attack him. Sensing the danger, Ouma tried to escape but slipped and fell.
Seizing the moment, his wife fatally stabbed him in the chest.
By the time neighbors arrived, he had already succumbed to his injuries. The couple had been married for about five years and shared a child.
Local authorities in Ongata Rongai have since arrested the woman as investigations into the incident continue.
It remains to be seen how investigations are carried out and the fate of their child, who is barely aware of the incident.
At the time of writing this report, we could not ascertain the whereabouts of the child, but indications suggest that external family members or close neighbours have taken custody of the child.
