Tiwa Savage believes cheating is historical with men and has not been a deal breaker in her relationships.
Tiwa Savage has opined that infidelity is not a basis for ending a relationship for her and disclosed that every man she has been with cheated, and she “forgave” them for it.
The multi-award-winning singer was on Spotify’s Receipts Podcast and was unequivocal about her stance towards men that cheat in a relationship.
“I’ve been cheated on before. I found out and forgave every time,” the All Over singer said.
“Every man I’ve ever been with has cheated, and I’ve never left them because of it.
“I’ve left for other reasons, but not because they cheated. Cheating is not my hill.”
Tiwa Savage, 44, says “lies” are a big deal breaker for her in a relationship and other factors such as drug abuse or emotional abuse.
“What hurts is the lies about it, though,” she disclosed.
“Maybe other people had known, and then I kind of felt stupid about it, or they’ve known for a long time, or if it’s close to home.
“The disrespect of it is why I could leave, but the actual act of it? I’ve never left a man because of it.
“I’ve left for so many other reasons, like drug abuse or emotional abuse or being emotionally abused, being ghosted, stealing, and financial things. But that cheating thing, nah.”

The “Kele Kele Love” crooner also lamented that people could say, “It’s bad that we’ve gotten to a point where cheating isn’t a deal-breaker,” but she insisted that “we’ve always been here, even back in the day, even going back to the Bible and history.”
