The Spanish tactician believes Man City would be dominant without injuries.
Pep Guardiola has blamed injuries to key players for his woes at Manchester City this season.
Man City suffered their fifth straight defeat at the hands of Tottenham on Saturday as the Cityzens went eight points below league leaders Liverpool.
It is the first time in Pep Guardiola’s career that he has suffered five defeats in a row, but the Spanish tactician believes the story would be different if he had some of his key players fit.
Ballon d’Or 2024 winner Rodri leads the line of important City players injured, as he has been ruled out of the entire 2024/25 season with an ACL tear.
Kevin De Bruyne recently returned from injury but is still not at the physical level expected to pose a threat to the opposition.

Other key players currently sidelined with injuries include Matheo Kovacic, Jeremy Doku, Ruben Dias, and Oscar Bobb.
“Just give me my players back, please… and you will see Man City,” Guardiola said ahead of Man City’s Champions League tie against Feyenoord on Tuesday.
“It’s difficult when you have to play without 4 central defenders, 2 holding midfielders, the best player in the world, Rodri, out, and 3 wingers out.
“Just give me my players back… You’ll see Manchester City football, for sure.”
Recall that Pep Guardiola, just like his star player Rodri, has criticized the number of games per season, especially with the new Champions League format and the UEFA Nations League.
