Trump and Harris rounded up their campaign on Monday night and assured supporters of victory.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and US Vice President and candidate of the Democratic Party Kamala Harris both predicted victory for their campaigns as citizens head to the presidential polls on Tuesday.
Former president Trump is making a bid to return to the White House after loosing to Joe Biden in 2020, while Harris is eyeing history as the first woman to become president of the United States.
Trump’s strong campaign points are his promises to seal the border and his proposal of tax cuts worth trillions of dollars, while Harris is banking on her promise to strengthen legislation for abortion rights as well as her pledge to lower food and housing costs.

Vice President Harris ended her campaign in the swing state of Pennsylvania, while Trump rounded up what is expected to be his last presidential campaign ever in another swing state, Michigan.
Despite endorsements from A-list American celebrities such as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Oprah Winfrey, Lady Gaga, Eminem, and more, Harris, speaking at the “Rocky Steps” in Philadelphia, described herself as the underdog in the election who is set to “climb to victory” like Rocky.
“The momentum is on our side,” Harris told supporters.
“We will win.
“Tonight, then, we finish as we started: with optimism, with energy, with joy.”
Trump, who got the endorsement of podcaster Joe Rogan on Monday night, sounded optimistic about his chances of returning to the White House.
“This is the last one,” Trump said while addressing the crowd.
“If we get out our people, it’s over; there’s nothing they can do about it..
“To make you feel a little guilty, we would only have you to blame.”
Trump, 78, and Harris, 60, have carried out head-spinning campaigns that saw a felony conviction and two assassination attempts on Trump, while Harris surprisingly became the frontrunner for the Democratic Party after President Joe Biden was pressured to drop his campaign over health concerns.
The election is expected to be tight, as it might take days to know the winner and next president of the United States.
