Netanyahu says Israel must retaliate against Iran.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Iran made a “big mistake” by attacking Israel with over 180 ballistic missiles and vowed that Iran “will pay for it.”
Iran shocked the globe by directing ballistic missiles at Israel on Tuesday night. It is still unclear if there were casualties as the iron dome was unable to intercept some of the missiles, but Netanyahu vowed during a security cabinet meeting in Jerusalem that Israel would retaliate.

“It was thwarted thanks to Israel’s air defense system, which is the most advanced in the world,” Netanyahu said to the security cabinet.
“The regime in Iran does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies.
“(Hamas leader) Yahya Sinwar and (top Hamas military commander Mohammed) Deif did not understand this; (Hezbollah leader Hassan) Nasrallah and (Hezbollah chief of staff Fuad) Shukr did not understand this, and there are probably those in Tehran who do not understand this,” an angry Netanyahu warned as the globe prepares for a possible further escalation of the crisis in the middle east.
“They will understand,” the Israeli Prime Minister threatened and stressed, “whoever attacks us—we will attack him.”
Netanyahu called on world leaders to support Israel and says the Israeli Defense Forces are fighting against the “axis of evil” in Gaza, the West Bank, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran.
“They must stand by Israel. The choice has never been clearer between tyranny and freedom, between blessing and curse,” Netanyahu said about Western powers.
“Israel is on the move, and the axis of evil is retreating.
“We will do everything necessary to continue this trend, to achieve all the goals of the war, primarily the return of all our hostages, and to ensure our existence and our future.”
