Haaland has come under heavy criticism for his performance against Arsenal.
Despite Manchester City’s 0-0 draw against Arsenal, which saw them slip to third place in the Premier League table, 3 points behind league leaders Liverpool, Erling Haaland believes the Cityzens can still win the 2023/24 English Premier League title.
Haaland was silenced by the duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes throughout the game, raising doubts about the form of the Norwegian striker.
Manchester United legend Roy Keane likened Haaland to a League Two striker due to his performance against Arsenal, but the former Borussia Dortmund star is unbothered and has set his sights on repeating the treble with Manchester City.
“We’ve done it once, we can do it again,” an Instagram post from Haaland said.
Manchester City have struggled in their quest to retain their EPL title and have failed to beat fellow contenders Liverpool and Arsenal this season.

Their chances of winning the UEFA Champions League title is also in doubt as they are drawn in the quarterfinal against Real Madrid who sit comfortably at the top of the Spanish La Liga table.
Some pundits believe City is struggling because of the departure of key players like Ilkay Gundogan and Riyad Mahrez and the injury to key midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.
Goalkeeper Ederson and other key players like Nathan Ake and Kyle Walker are also out injured.
Haaland finished 2022/23 as the highest goal scorer in the EPL and is in the race against Liverpool’s Mohammed Salah for this year’s top scorer prize.
