Arteta is not disturbed by the comments of Aubameyang.
Arsenal FC manager, Mikel Arteta, has replied Aubameyang’s comments about him being unable to handle “big players.’’ Aubameyang fell-out with the Spanish manager and was stripped off the captaincy during his time at the Emirates Stadium before leaving for Barcelona.
The former Gabonese national team captain when quizzed about Arteta’s managerial prowess said:
“To manage big characters or big players, he (Arteta) can’t deal with it…He (Arteta) needs some young players, they don’t say anything, they listen.’’
However, Arteta while speaking ahead of Arsenal’s UEFA Europa League clash against Bodo/Glimt, noted that “people are free to discuss what they want’’ when he was asked about the Gabonese man’s comments.
Arteta went further to hail his present Arsenal squad, and insisted that he had never been in a better dressing than what he currently has at the Emirate Stadium.
“I have never been in a better dressing room (than this season) – more enjoyable, more hard-working, a better relationship between staff and players and it is an absolute pleasure as a coach to be a part of this group.’’

Aubameyang left Barcelona for Chelsea during the last summer transfer window and has started brightly under the tutelage of Graham Potter. He has scored three times in five outings for the Blues, while Arteta and his Gunners top the English Premier League table.
