Some of Nigeria’s finest acts have been throwing jibes on Twitter.
The Nigerian Twitter space has been set agog on Friday, July 15, 2022 as some of the country’s fastest-rising acts have been trading jibes via tweets.
Ruger while responding to a user said he is a bigger artist than BNXN (Buju) because the latter does not have a solo hit song compared to him.
As expected, the tweet was met with divided opinions as some fans blasted him while others agreed with his opinion.
Omah Lay who just released his debut album ‘Boy Alone’ would weigh in on the debate and called out Ruger. He would further recount a tweet made by Victony, tagging both acts as “kids.’’
“Ruger get mind dey talk about bnxn like that for this app smh!! mofos do anything for clout out here, same way Victony lol my tweet the other time, y’all are really kids,’’ Omah Lay’s tweet said.
While some fans believe Omah Lay’s tweet is part of moves to promote his debut album, others are displeased with the hostility of the artistes towards each other.
