Ferran Torres Confirms He Is Dating Luis Enrique’s Daughter

FC Barcelona star, Ferran Torres, has confirmed that he is in a relationship with the eldest daughter of Spanish national team coach, Luis Enrique, weeks after he joined the Catalan giants.

Rumours have made the rounds in recent weeks suggesting that Ferran Torres and Sira Martinez have been dating each other while the young star was far away in Manchester City. The new Barcelona signing has made the relationship public after posting Sira on his Instagram page.

Torres in his Instagram post congratulated Sira Martinez after she won a horse-riding competition. Sira also reposted the former Manchester City star’s post on her Instagram page.

It will be recalled that Torres recently showered encomiums on his national team coach, Luis Enrique, hailing his exceptional fatherly role and encouragement in his football career.

“I only have words of thanks. I consider him my father, he is like our father,”the FC Barcelona star said.

“Since I have come to the national team, he has spectacularly welcomed me; he has given me all his confidence. This is what any player would want.”

Ferran Torres returned to the Spanish football league just 18 months after leaving Valencia for Manchester City, to become the latest signing at Barcelona, Luis Enrique’s former club.

The Spanish forward has been impressive for his country’s  national team, netting 12 goals in 22 appearances for the European football heavyweights. Torres also scored 16 goals in 43 appearances for Man City, to help them become 2020/2021 Premier League champions.

Torres, 22, left Manchester City to move to the Camp Nou for an initial fee of £46million, with potential add-ons meaning the deal could rise to £54million.
