Twitter Takes Down Shatta Wale’s Rape Post

Popular micro blogging platform Twitter has deleted a post Ghanaian musician Shatta Wale made about raping someone.

The Ghanaian artist admitted to raping Burna Boy’s girl at the peak of a heated exchange between both singers. Shatta said Burna is jealous of him owing to the rape act which was a pay back to the ‘Bank On It’ crooner.

 “Because he is a rapist, He is jealous I did same to his girl. Cuz that is his job, Raping jealousy,” Shatta had tweeted.

However, the controversial tweet from Shatta Wale has been deleted by Twitter. The deletion message reads: “This Tweet is no longer available because it violated Twitter Rules”.

Remember Shatta Wale also accused Burna Boy and other Nigerian artists of not being appreciative of the love and support they received from Ghanaians. In his tweet, “learn how to say thank you, Ghana has always been your gateway”.

The 37-year-old Ghanaian artist also alleged that Nigerian artists do not promote artists from Ghana: “As for Nigerians, they think they can always say what they want to say. Fuck your talks y’all who think I spoke the truth. I don’t even remember you guys promoting Ghanaian artiste in your country until you guys will realize your artiste blow in Ghana to say thank you.”

He finally threatened to stop the support Nigerian artists received in Ghana.

 “Bring it on and your artiste won’t get that hype they get from Ghana. I can make that stop. Don’t dare me. It is the truth, your artiste comes here for the numbers before the world can recognize them,” Shatta threatened.
