Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold is set to release yet another groundbreaking project in 2022 as he has urged his fans to anticipate his new album coming out soon.
Adekunle Gold, popularly known as “AG baby” has disclosed that his fourth album would be released by February 4, 2022, titled `Catch me if you can`. The announcement that has been put on his social media pages comes as a relief to fans who had earlier expected an album from the “Sade” crooner.
The dynamic singer also made the announcement at a concert titled “Can You See Me Now” organized by his wife Simi at the Muri Okunola Park in Lagos. While performing alongside Simi on stage, he briefly announced to the elated audience about his highly anticipated work poised to release early this year. The award-winning singer spiced up the announcement with a moment of romance with his lover (Simi) as he engaged her in a passionate kiss that got fans elated and wild.
Adekunle Gold has dominated the music industry with his hit songs for years and has produced several albums. His first album titled “Gold” produced in 2016 was greeted with much excitement as that marked a remarkable breakpoint in his musical career. The second album titled “About 30” was also released in 2018. The most recent and third album by the singer was released on the 21st August 2020 tagged “Afro Pop Vol. 1” which was nominated for the “Best African Act” by the 2020 MOBO Awards. The album was also nominated for the Headies award held in 2020.
The fourth album is set to feature singles such as “High” featuring Davido, “Sinner” featuring Lucky Daye, and “It Is What It Is” and a list of others that made hit songs in the year 2021.
