Mini-blogging App, Twitter has said that its discussion with the Nigerian government on the restoration of its services in the country have been respectful and productive.
This was revealed by a Twitter spokesperson in a statement made available to Peoples Gazette on Monday, September 13.
The ban of the social media App in Nigeria is said to hit 100 days, and gainful discussions are being held to ensure its restoration.
The spokesperson stated:
“Discussions with the Nigerian government have been respectful and productive – we look forward to seeing the service restored very soon.
“We continue to engage with the Nigerian government to discuss why Twitter has been blocked and ways to resolve the matter. We are committed to charting a path forward to the restoration of Twitter for everyone in Nigeria.”
